A duel? Bring it on. I am alot of fun and have lived all over the world. I am actually for real. Even somebody from this board met me in Mexico when she was there and we partied (the girls kicked off early at 3 or 4 and i kep goin) so I'm not sittin in my 1 bedroom apartment spankin the monkey dreamin of travel and fun.
You can be young and hip and part of the new urban generation without being ghetto you know. Its like being able to live in Arkansas without being white trash.

I am your typical latin male..... No, not really. I have 2 kids and go between the US and Mexico. I've been in the US 3 weeks and am stir crazy.

I prefer poor indiginous farmers over American white trash. Although my people here seem to love american white trash and try so hard to emulate them, I resist the urge by not being a fat glutton and not living in cramped quarters with automobiles parked in the yard / garden.

Rent question
by NoLongerAjw ini have a question was wondering if anyone knew the answer to... .
i rent month to month.. have been here 8 years... the person who owns the property came by last night to inform me and others that the rent has went up $70 and is to be added to march 1st payment.. what i am wondering is.... it seems that he should have gave us a months notice before it went into effect.. do you know if that is the law or not?...
i live in indiana if that helps... .

Ok, what state are you in? You have a basic month to month tenancy. Sure, in theory, he should give you at least 30 days notice or more if proscrbed by statute but if you push the issue, he may get pissed and raise it $80 in 30 days. Why not call him and ask if it can start in 30 days?
If you are getting a killer deal or paying below market rent then shame on you. If it is the case, prepare and save so that if you are forced to pay market rent your next home won't be the box from a washing machine. $80 doesn't seem like that much but where I am studios go for $1,000 per month and homes in the ghetto (no drive bys or ghetto folks u see in movies) are near $1,000,000.00.
But maybe you are in Nigeria or a 3rd world country or Appalachia or the mid west or just have a humble home in a small town. -

I have a 43" Pioneer. Mine cost a little over $5,000 which I had drop shipped from New york. The same thing in Circuit city a mile away was $8,000.00. I've had mine for 2 years now. They are all different. Some are low priced but not much better then tubed TVs. Get one that is HDTV ready with an HDTV tuner. Some brands you've never heard of will have crappy pictures. You'll want to compare resolutions as well. viewing distance is a factor on size. While I wanted to get a 52" and have a huge TV, the reality was that the optimal viewing area wouldn't be consistent with where the screen was going to be.
For best results viewing movies, get a progressive scan DVD player. -

It will keep happening but the best way to keep them out is job training. I know so many young ones who go out but come back because they were raised without goals nor education and the parents use that "carrot on the string" to keep them coming back. I ask many if they are going back because of family's financial support and they all say yes. Allow them to skills to be self supportive and nobody would ever come back!
I think mnay witnesses are naive to the ways of the world and get caught up in bad stuff. Many come from poorer families and when out hang out with poorer classes of people where aberrant behaviour may not be frowned oupon as much as with the higher classes.
Only in the truth is a girl a pioneer one year and a few years later has red headed kids from different daddies. It sucks. Alot go off the deep end. -

Well... I weighed in the other day at 206 at the gym. I'd like to be 220! I'm 6 feet tall (1.87m).
My kids call me fat. I guess because i can't walk behind a signpost and disappear, I am fat to them. But they are stick figures. Its all relative. I'm fat and proud. I do need to lose 5 pounds to show my 6 pack or at least 4 pack so I'll box 2 days a week. It is hard to bulk up, almost as hard as losing weight. I've done it. I've gone from 160 2 years ago by eating lots of meats, like insane amounts.
I guess it all boils down to attitude. Beauty and weight are one thing but the attitude to survive, overcome, adapt and succeed is another thing. Also the attitude to not make excuses and to achieve.
